great atmosphere but noise can be disruptive
The atmosphere was fantastic, with charming historical decor and iconic Australian photographs lining the walls. My room was newly refurbished, with a very comfortable bed, made for an excellent night's sleep. The sea view from my room added a good touch to my stay. The easy access to public transport made exploring the area easy.
The noise from the bar below was quite intrusive at times, especially during the late hours.

The King Room with Garden View offers a comfortable bed and ample space. The view of the ocean is fine, which adds a vibrant touch to the overall atmosphere and relaxation.
The noise from the bar below can be intense, especially for those not out for a wild night. The check-in location is somewhat inconvenient, being a bit of a trek from the rooms and requiring a slog up some stairs. Some amenities in the room, like hooks in the bathroom, needed attention as they appeared ready to come loose. While the room is spacious, the cleanliness left something to be desired, with a need for a deeper clean in several areas.

Amazing upgrade and cozy room!
Had a really nice stay! I was upgraded to a fabulous room with a crazy good view of the ocean. The room was super spacious, and I loved the big shower. The staff were really friendly too! One tiny thing was that it took a bit to get my room cleaned once, but no biggie. Definitely enjoyed the outdoor dining area for a chill meal!

The early check-in got us settled before we even expected, and the cozy vibe by the beach was just perfect for unwinding. Enjoyed a lovely day at the beach and the chilled atmosphere in the beer garden was a highlight. Just a heads up, the Wi-Fi could be a bit slow at times. 🌊

The King Room with Garden View featured a comfortable bed and ample space. Its location directly opposite the beach ensures fine views right from the room.
The noise from the bar below can be quite intrusive, definitely not suitable for light sleepers-even though you're warned about it. The bathroom cleanliness left much to be desired, with some areas needing attention.

Great location right by the beach made it easy to start my day with a lovely walk along the coast. The King Room was spacious and the bed felt luxurious, ensuring a restful night after my adventures. The shared balcony offered nice views, although it could feel exposed at times due to its proximity to other rooms. Customer service stood out. I needed an extra bottle of water, and staff quickly provided it with a smile. The noise from the pub below was intrusive during the night. While the bathroom was adequate, it needed better cleanliness attention, a letdown. A vibrant atmosphere on the premises, but the noise level and cleanliness were notable drawbacks.

The air con worked really well and was quiet, cool. Room service was quick, and the food was piping hot. Great vibes overall, but the cleanliness could've been better in some spots.

I stayed in a King Room, super spacious with a huge bed and a massive walk-in shower. I loved that I could see the ocean from my window, and the air conditioning was actually quiet. Room service was impressively quick, with hot food arriving almost instantly.
One downside was the cleanliness in some areas needing attention.

The location of this hotel is perfect - it's just steps away from the beach and there are plenty of shops, cafes, and accommodations in the area. The staff provided excellent service and were very helpful - they even gave me the best room available, which I appreciated. The rooms are spacious and have comfortable beds, which made for a pleasant stay. The breakfast selection was fantastic and had a beautiful ocean view - definitely a great way to start the day.
All in all, everything was fine.
